Your Invitation to Participate

On behalf of the Board, Staff and Conference Program Taskforce, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the Day Hospitals Australia 2018 National Conference at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park from Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 September 2018.

The Conference theme for 2018 is “Rapid changes in healthcare, is your hospital keeping up?”

The Conference Program Taskforce consisting of Day Hospitals Australia members, are developing a program which will consist of a blend of concurrent and plenary sessions, addressing the many challenges impacting the day hospital sector, including :

  • reforms to Private Health Insurance
  • legislative and regulatory changes occurring in many parts of Australia and their impact on the day hospital sector,
  • changing compliance requirements – Version 2 of the National Standards
  • rapid technological advances

Delegates will hear from inspirational speakers with concurrent workshops focusing on the key aspects of running a day hospital: Management, Clinical and Business Development.

Day Hospitals Australia is recognised as the Peak Body for the day hospital sector and continues to actively and strategically advocate, lobby, represent and support our extensive membership base representing small, medium and large day hospital facilities across the country.
